The Expat Fair 2017

The number of expats in Korea has already surpassed 2 million, demonstrating the great impact that they have had, and will continue to have, on Korean society. At present time, expats coming to Korea have flown in from countries all around the globe, a decisive change from the past when they mostly came from the U.S. military or as staff members of embassies. Today, expats have entered into the Korean workforce en-masse as executives, members of foreign companies, students, teachers, and more. As a result, there are now many industries in education, medicine, and tourism that target the needs of the expats in Korea. The Expat Fair is Coex’s first fair for expats that looks to bring together the expat community and representatives in areas such as education, living arrangements, lifestyle management, and tourism. The fair will be a platform for finding employment opportunities in addition to being a festival for all to enjoy. Expat Fairs are already being held in Amsterdam, Singapore, Shanghai, and Bangkok with great success, and Korea will soon join their numbers this December.
