Photo & Imaging 2014 has cemented its status as Asia’s leading photography tradeshow yet again by attracting 70,246 visitors within four days. From April 17th-20th at Coex, Photo & Imaging Seoul 2014 showcased the very finest in both state-of-the-art technology and vintage equipment. 159 global and domestic photography industry leaders captivated photographers of all levels by presenting over 300 brands across 750 exhibition booths. Simultaneously, the exclusive “100 Year a Leica” exhibit celebrated the centenary of the world’s first ever 35mm camera.
A collection of original photographic works from some of the world’s best-known photographers, including Henri Cartier Bresson and Rene Burri, as well as up to fifty exceptional Leica cameras were on display for visitors to appreciate at Photo & Imaging 2014. Ten concurrent events, which included a Photo & Optics exhibit, UNICEF exhibition, a photo book fair, and a special showcase by the Seoul Photography Club, gave attendees unprecedented access to an entire industry of global photography and imaging equipment, as well as works of art from around the world.
Three other concurrent photography shows – Seoul Photo’, ‘Photo & Travel,’ and ‘P&I Movie Zone’ – were held this year alongside Photo & Imaging.
Photo & Imaging, having launched in 1989, has developed into one of the best-known tradeshows in its field. Photo & Imaging was the first international exhibition to receive UFI certification, and has also been named as a ‘promising exhibition’ by Korea’s Trade Ministry of Natural Resources for 13 consecutive years.
