March 20, 2015, SEOUL, KOREA – Korea’s leading factory automation trade show, Automation World, is celebrating its 26th anniversary with a newly launched Smart Factory component. Today is the final day of this three day event, and both the Smart Factory Pavilion and the Smart Factory Conference have already received positive reviews. Automation World has added the Smart Factory Pavilion together with its two leading industry exhibitions aimex (Industrial Automation, Instrumentation and Measurement Exhibition) and Korean Vision Show, all taking place at Coex, Seoul, from March 18-20, 2015.

Automation World 2015 is hosting a variety of conferences to share expertise in industrial automation on March 18th and 20th. International Smart Factory Conference, Smart Factory in Germany Case Studies, IoT and cloud adoption practice for manufacturing innovation, PLM adoption for smart manufacturing practices, are a few of the topics that provide a variety of smart factory-related lectures introduced to all small, mid and large-sized business. English presentations by Siemens Ltd. Seoul, Rockwell Automation and Schneider Electric Korea are among the top companies featured along with the full agenda in Korean language on the Automation World 2015 Smart Factory Conference agenda. Organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and Coex, the Smart Factory Exhibition items include IoT, CPS, Industrial Software (PLM, CAE, CAD), and Smart Factory Solution.

In 2014, more than 20,000 visitors attended Automation World, including more than 270 overseas buyers from 40 different countries. The exhibition was spread across 844 booths by 280 exhibitors, including 24 overseas exhibitors from 12 countries. This year is set to be bigger and better than ever, with major exhibitors including Rockwell Automation, National Instruments, Fuji Electric Korea, Autonics, and many other leaders of the market.

First launched in 1990, Automation World has become the number one business platform in Korea for domestic and overseas representatives from the factory automation industry. Automation World became the first tradeshow in Korea to receive UFI certification in 2002.

In 2015, Automation World also features a diverse range of related seminars and workshops, including the High-tech Sensor Conference, New Products Seminars, Machine Vision Seminars, Industrial Communications Network Seminars, and more. The New Products Seminar is an annual aspect of Automation World which has proved an immensely popular option for exhibitors to introduce their newly launched products and technologies to attendees at the show. This seminar also allows visitors to effectively research the latest trends in the automation industry.
