Coex is once again leading Korea’s exhibition industry with the development of an all new, total mobile solution to lead Korea’s exhibition service industry. The project will use beam technology to connect to mobile devices and help create a more efficient, customer oriented environment.
The new technology will have six main functions, featuring an exhibition guide map, registration for exhibition and systems for admission, exhibition planning tools, systems for guiding indoor booths, on-site business matching, and the analysis of big data.
Big data analysis will give exhibition organizers and participants an all new way to track and improve their exhibitions. Data will be collected on visitors’ information, time spent at each booth, visitor movement in the exhibition, and the results of the business matching programs. The platform will also feature marketing and press opportunities for exhibitors with banner ad options.
Visitors will also benefit from the new tech with a range of features to make their participation easier. Using the beacon-positioning technology, for example, visitors can find their way to any booth they are searching for. They will also be able to access information related to events, receive discount coupons, and get push notifications in real-time so they don’t miss any opportunities.
“Coex has long focused on keeping our exhibitions on the cutting edge,” said Bo Kyung Byun, President and CEO of Coex. “This new beacon service represents our commitment to making sure our exhibitors and participant get the most out of their experience with Coex.”
The technology will be released this year starting with Coex’s owned exhibitions, and rolling out to third party organizers later in the year.
