Coex Brings Gangnam Style to Vietnam for International Shop and Franchise Show

COEX BRINGS GANGNAM STYLE TO VIETNAM FOR INTERNATIONAL
SHOP AND FRANCHISE SHOW

Exhibition and Convention Center and Organizer, Coex, is to bring selected businesses from both its home in Gangnam, Seoul, and all over the world, to Vietnam, as it hosts the annual Vietnam International Shop + Franchise Show, from November 1st to 3rd at SECC, Ho Chi Minh City.

Now in its fourth year, VIETSF has gained substantial recognition in the industry
for being the perfect platform for businesses entering into the newly rising Vietnamese
market. Event-organizer Coex operates the tradeshow from both its headquarters in Korea and a local office in Vietnam, in order to maximize successful global promotion of the show. The scale of the show has increased annually, and this year VIETSF is expected to welcome over 260 booths from 131 companies including well known brands such as Tous Les Jours, The coffee Bean and Tea leaf, and GNC.

In particular, exhibitors will this year include a group of medical-tourism related businesses whose participation is sponsored by Gangnam District – subject of the recent worldwide hit ‘Gangnam Style’. On the second day of the show, twelve participating Seoul hospitals and clinics will hold special seminar sessions, as well as presenting the services they offer in their booths. As the international health and beauty market expands, Korean medical services and tourism are attracting increasing attention. VIETSF reflects this global trend with a large portion of exhibitors in the field of cosmetics and health products.

Various seminars related to the franchise and retail industry will also be provided throughout the show.This year especially Coex have invited speakers from well-known law firms to provide seminars of interest on topics including “Tax and Franchise in Vietnam” and “Franchise in Vietnam from a Legal Perspective; Dos & Don’ts.” Visitors may furthermore learn about the fast changing local trends by attending seminars provided by consulting firms on topics such as, “Vietnam’s Evolving Retail Landscape: Present and Future Developments.” Seminars such as these, presented by experts from a diverse range of industries, offer invaluable resources for those in attendance at VIETSF who wish to learn more about local franchise and retail market.

Coex’s highly successful biz-matching program is also to continue this year, with pre-arranged meeting between exhibitors and buyers providing optimal opportunity for business success at the show.

However, it’s not all business and education at VIETSF – there is lots of fun to be had, too. A ‘Gangnam Style’ flash mob will feature as part of the opening ceremony and special gifts will be given to winners of a lucky draw.
