This year’s annual Smart Factory + Automation World 2023 took place in Coex from March 8 to 10 for a total of 3 days. As usual, the Coex organized event took up all the main exhibition floors at the venue. The aimex event took place in Hall A and the Korea Vision Show took place in Hall B. The main Smart Factory Expo took up the entire expanse of Hall C and Hall D.
Heralded as the largest Smart Factory + Automation world to date, the entire event spanned across multiple concurrent exhibitions for a total of 500 exhibitors, 2,000 booths, and over 50,000 visitors on the first day alone.
Concurrently, there were around 100 professional meetings and sessions for the 2023 Industrial Digital Transformation Conference, Smart Logistics Conference, Robotics Conference, IIoT Innovation Day, Exhibitors’ Seminars, and more.
Reflecting the growing interest in logistics industry logistics, particularly after COVID-19, a Smart Logistics Special Pavilion was also created in Hall D. The special pavilion consisted of 200 booths and featured leading domestic logistics companies such as LG CNS, CJ OliveNetworks, and Mobile & Value Chain. The companies held exhibitions and demonstrations of their logistics IT, robots, and logistics solutions.
A key feature across all all halls were the use of Coex’s special AV Drop solution – a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for booth and stage design. Also prominently featured throughout the event were Coex’s VIP Furniture – a line-up of premium event furnishings offered by Coex convention center.
Smart Factory + Automation World is one of several exhibitions that are organized directly by Coex. As Korea’s biggest exhibition organizer, the Coex annually puts on more than 20 international trade shows both in Korea and abroad.
Coex-organized exhibitions span a wide range of industries such as the F&B shows Coffee Expo Seoul and Coex Food Week, Consumer goods events such as SIPREMIUM Sourcing Fair in Seoul and VIPREMIUM Vietnam International Premium Products Fair in Ho Chi Minh City.
