Coex CEO Bids Farewell to 79th UFI Congress, Welcomes Industry Leaders to Seoul in 2013

COEX CEO BIDS FAREWELL TO 79TH UFI CONGRESS,
WELCOMES INDUSTRY LEADERS TO SEOUL IN 2013

Coex CEO and President Mr Sung-Won Hong bid farewell to some of the world’s leading exhibition industry figures on the last day of the 79th UFI congress at ADNEC, Abu Dabhi, last week, while welcoming them to the 80th UFI congress next year at Coex, Seoul. At the three-day congress’s farewell luncheon jointly hosted by Coex and the Association of Korean Exhibition Industries (AKEI) last Thursday, Mr Hong congratulated ADNEC and UFI for the staging of another highly successful congress and expressed his anticipation for the event at Coex from November 13-16 November 2013.

UFI is an annual assembly providing an essential platform for the leaders of UFI member organizations to gather and review key issues affecting to the global exhibition industry today. The theme of this years’ congress was ‘Where is the growth coming from?’, and a record 450 key figures gathered from 55 countries around the world to network and communicate along this theme.

As South Korea’s leading convention and exhibition center located in the finance and business hub of Seoul, Gangnam, Coex hopes to retain this success next year.
