On September 30, 2025, Coex Magok, which officially opened on November 28, 2024, held an Open House in Lewest Hall, Coex Magok. A total of 70 institutions, along with exhibition organizers and corporate representatives were invited to learn more about Coex Magok and take part in a guided facility tour.
The venue featured Coex’s ‘Good Plan’ solutions — including AV Drop, a reusable modular stage backdrop; LEDUP, a sustainable lighting wall; VOMO, an eco-friendly lightweight booth system; and Wallstack, a modular partition wall system — giving participants the chance to experience the eco-friendly innovations firsthand.
The event began with welcoming remarks from Kwon Young-geun, Head of the Coex Magok Project Office, followed by a presentation from the Convention Services Team’s Deputy, who introduced Coex’s sustainable service initiative, Good Plan. The presentation highlighted a variety of eco-friendly solutions, including AV Drop, LEDUP, VOMO, and Wallstack.
The program continued with a presentation by the General Manager of Mercure Hotel Magok, which is directly connected to Coex Magok. Afterward, Coex Magok staff led participants on a facility tour.
During the tour, participants explored all exhibition halls and meeting rooms from B2 to the 5th floor, experiencing the new facilities firsthand. The tour also included a Q&A session along with discussions on venue rental and exhibition inquiries. A luncheon held on the 4th-floor provided participants with networking opportunities, enhanced by a live performance that made the event even more memorable.
Located in Gangseo-gu, the Coex Magok Convention Center features a 7,452㎡ exhibition hall and 6,922㎡ of meeting space. As facilities continue to expand following its opening, Coex Magok has already established itself as a large-scale convention complex with diverse meeting facilities, while being directly connected to a 4-star hotel. Its convenient location just 15 km from Incheon Airport further strengthens its appeal.
Through this Open House, Coex Magok successfully introduced its upgraded facilities, reaffirming its vision to grow into a central hub for global exhibitions and conventions.
