Leading medical experts from around Asia Pacific specializing in tuberculosis and respiratory diseases gathered in Coex from November 17-20 for the 26th Congress of the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology (APSR 2022). The event saw as many as 2,000 domestic and foreign experts from 45 countries descend on the venue in the city’s Gangnam district.
From November 2-5, all four of Coex’s main exhibition halls were filled once again for the 17th annual Coex Food Week, an event that, “brings together everything from the newest trends to the future vision of the F&B industry through a variety of exhibitions and conferences.” Over 30,000 visitors and participants were estimated to be in attendance for what is well-known to be Korea’s largest B2B and B2C Food and Beverage industry exhibition.
After two and a half years of domestic and hybrid type events, Coex is now once again welcoming several large-scale international congresses in the second half of 2022. With growing numbers of international event attendees arriving day by day, Coex looks forward to continue leading the way for a swift recovery from the COVID pandemic for Korea’s MICE industry.
Last month Coex’s studio159 opened to the public, kicking off with a multi-day Open House event. The 294sqm professional studio is fully equipped to handle broadcasting of all types, but is also served by Coex’s full suite of events support, making it a useful space to hold hybrid events or a unique venue for face-to-face meetings. The new addition of studio159 offers meeting planners exciting new choices and flexibility in the planning of their future events at Coex.
The Korea International Design Exhibition (KOSIGN) is one of Coex’s longest running in-house exhibitions, and it celebrated its 29th anniversary this year. Organized by Coex and Korea Outdoor Advertising Association, KOSIGN has been the leading outdoor advertising exhibition in Korea showcasing the industry’s latest trends and equipment.
