A new full LED wall display has been installed at Coex’s stunning auditorium. Following the installation of the 500-inch full LED display in the Grand Conference Room 401 at the end of last year and a second 500-inch full LED display at the purpose-built broadcast venue Studio159 in January, the newest addition to the lineup of Coex’s full LED wall displays will help meet the increased demands of digital and hybrid events post-COVID.
The auditorium is located on the third floor of the North Wing of Coex and features a 12m x 24m stage with 1,080 theater-style seats. This conference facility is perfect for events such as international conferences, large-scale symposiums, congresses, opening and closing ceremonies, and more. When used in conjunction with the Grand Ballroom on the first floor and the ASEM Ballroom on the second floor, it can accommodate large-scale meetings of more than 4,000 participants. The facility also includes private rooms adjacent to it that can be used as VIP rooms, waiting rooms, and dressing rooms – making it a popular venue for musicals, concerts, award ceremonies, and many other types of events.
The new display is a 20×6 meter (822-inch) full LED screen that can support high resolution videos with its pixel pitch of just 3.9mm and 5120×1526 resolution display. Because LED screens function as their own light source, they have the advantage of consuming less energy compared to LCD panels.
A Coex official commented, “due to the increase in demand for hybrid events, there were numerous cases of our clients renting and installing LED displays the day before their event. The new display in our auditorium will help reduce the cost and time associated with repeatedly installing and disassembling displays.”
