Coex Receives "i-Breathe Index" Indoor Air Quality Certification
Representatives from Coex's Facility Management Department line up with executives to receive the i-Breathe Index Certification from the Korea Standards Association
In September, Coex received the nation’s first "i-Breathe Index" Indoor Air Quality Certification for a convention center. Agents from a joint overseeing body from Yonsei University and the Korean Standards Association conducted five rounds of air particle detection and screening, measuring for levels of 10 different types of indoor pollutants. The certification itself was awarded when it was confirmed that Coex met strict standards formulated based on the World Health Organization's "Right to Healthy Indoor Air" declaration.
