One of Coex’s longest running shows, the Seoul International Premium Products Fair (SIPREMIUM), is expanding into three new markets across South East Asia.
The Vietnam International Premium Products Fair (VIPREMIUM) will open in Ho Chi Minh on May 31st 2018, the ASEAN International Premium Products Fair (APREMIIUM) will open in Bangkok on October 3rd 2018, and the Jakarta International Premium Products Fair(JIPREMIUM) will open in Jakarta on November 21st 2018.
Each show will take advantage of the unique benefits of the local market. Thailand, for example, is a major stepping stone into the larger ASEAN market, sharing borders with many of the region’s economic juggernauts and serving as a base for logistics and services; Jakarta represents a door to Indonesia’s massive market of 260 million people and over 19 million middle-class households; and Vietnam, boasting 6% average annual growth in GDP per capita, is one of South East Asia’s key emerging markets.
Originally opened in 1991, SIPREMIUM is one of Coex’s longest running exhibitions, and the move marks a major brand expansion for Coex’s international exhibition portfolio. Presently the company also organizes a Coffee and Dessert Show, Baby Fair, and Franchise show in Vietnam, as well as the ASEAN Seafood Show in Thailand.
The premium product fairs will follow SIPREMIUM’s model and feature a wide range of products for stationery & office supplies, crafts and jewelry, food and beverage, beauty and health, houseware and kitchen appliances, and a range of design items. Along with the expansion of the premium products shows, Coex will also be rolling out a VIP club, called P Club.
Members of the club will get VIP passes, an exclusive registration desk, a members-only lounge, special souvenirs, 1:1 business matching with exhibitors, free access to seminars, and other specialized services designed only for P Club members at all the International Premium Products Fairs.
