2011 International Conference Outlook for May-August
World Congress of Dermatology, International Dragon Award, and more
In May, Coex will host the World Congress of Dermatology, one of the largest international conferences in the world. Nearly 12,000 attendees are expected to participate in the event, over 90% of whom will come from abroad. The congress will use all four exhibition halls and all meeting rooms.
In June, the International Association of Prosecutors will hold its World Congress at Coex. The IAP is a coalition of prosecutors from all over the world, formed by the United Nations in 1995 to help combat international crime. The World Congress includes a boardroom-style meeting of nearly 200 high-level representatives, which will take place in Coex’s Hall D.
Also in June, the EU Gateway Program will return to Coex’s Grand Ballroom. EU Gateway provides opportunities for European Union companies to research and invest in foreign market opportunities. This year’s program in Korea will showcase both Korean and Japanese companies, fostering business relations between the European and Asian continents.
In August, Coex will have its largest international incentive event of the year, the International Dragon Award. This event is organized by Insurance Marketing Magazine International, an Asian group that coordinates insurance education and training all over the Asian region. Nearly 6,000 top employees will be rewarded with the trip to Korea in August, with the award ceremony itself being held in Coex’s Hall D.
