Seoul International Sourcing Fair 2015 celebrates growth
700 booths plus varied events program attract almost 20,000 attendees

April 8, 2015, SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA – The 25th annual edition of Seoul International Sourcing Fair (formerly known as SIPREMIUM) 2015 saw 20,000 visitors, 16,000 of whom are professional buyers over four days when it was held from March 25-28, 2015 at Coex, Seoul. This increase of more than 15% from 2014 comes as no surprise to one of Korea’s top exhibitions for the sales promotion and living supplies industry. The number of exhibitors grew by more than 21% from 2014 with 550 exhibitors, including 16 from overseas spread across 700 exhibition booths.

Exhibit items included sales promotion & gifts, stationery, office supplies, beauty and health products, tea, food, home appliances, kitchenware, lifestyle products, crafts, jewelry, context & handmade items and many more.

Overseas buyers provided positive feedback. “I was delighted to be able to attend SIPREMIUM 2015. It was certainly an interesting experience for me to be exposed to so many Korean manufacturers and suppliers in a one-stop location. The whole planning was good and I found the execution very smooth. Most important of all was the networking and interpreter that Coex so kindly arranged for me. More overseas buyers participated than ever before in the Business Matching 1:1 Meetings organized by Coex. More than 745 meetings took place between 256 exhibitors and 142 overseas buyers representing 83 companies from 8 countries, which shows an increase in overseas buyer participation by almost four times that of 2014. On average, 75% of exhibitors were able to meet qualified buyers over the course of the event, 69% of buyers were satisfied with business meetings and 85% of buyers were satisfied with the overall performance at Seoul Int’l Sourcing Fair 2015.
