SIPREMIUM to Showcase Gifts and Handcrafts at Biggest Show Ever in 2016
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, January 21, 2016 – The Seoul International Sourcing Fair, or SIPREMIUM 2016, will open its 26th show as Korea’s top trade show in the corporate and sales gifts market this March.
The Seoul International Sourcing Fair is Korea’s longest-running tradeshow in its industry, and the only of its kind to receive official certification from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. Previously, the show welcomed participation from 502 exhibitors across 659 booths, and welcomed 17,778 visitors from 21 countries. Almost 90% of visitors had the power to buy and 80% of exhibitors expressed interest in participating at the show again. The 26th annual Seoul International Sourcing Fair will be held from March 2nd to March 5th, 2016 at Coex, Seoul.
Beginning last year, a national merchandising association represented Korean buyers to meet with both overseas and domestic exhibitors in efforts to encourage and mentor entrance into the Korean merchandising market. The 1:1 Biz Matching Program included more overseas buyers than ever before, organized by Coex and Korea International Trade Association (KITA). More than 745 meetings took place between 256 exhibitors and 142 overseas buyers representing 83 companies from 8 countries, an increase in overseas buyer participation by almost four times that of 2014.
Exhibit items included sales promotion & gifts, stationery, office supplies, beauty and health products, tea, food, home appliances, kitchenware, lifestyle products, crafts, jewelry, context & handmade items and many more.
