World Trade Center Chrysanthemum Festival Opens at Coex
Monday, October 15th 2012 – The Seoul World Trade Center’s annual Chrysanthemum Festival opened today, for four weeks of musical performances, special events and stunning flower-art at Coex.
Hosted by Coex, KITA and the Gangnam district office, the 2012 downtown carnival of chrysanthemums, situated on Coex’s East Plaza, promises to be bigger and better than ever, with beautiful outdoor flower displays and a schedule jam-packed with entertainment and events.
Visitors to the festival may enjoy a variety of paintings, prints, sculptures, pottery and photography all with a floral theme. Other activities include flower parades, Korean traditional musical performances and an array of classical, jazz and Kpop concerts. For a limited time only, festival attendees may also take advantage of special discounts at their favorite Coex restaurants, by simply showing restaurant staff a photograph of themselves enjoying the chrysanthemum festivities.
