Following the success of last year’s event, Coex was thrilled to host the 2024 Green Business Week, which took place from Wednesday, October 16th to Friday, October 18th, in Hall A. This year’s event was more vibrant than ever before, featuring 450 booths and 150 participating companies. A myriad of green products and innovations were available for all visitors to learn more about the latest in sustainable technology and eco-friendly practices.
In line with the event’s slogan —For Us, For Earth, For Future!— the event highlighted the evolution of industrial technologies with three major expos: the K-nuclear Expo, the New Renewable Energy Expo and the Eco Transport Expo. Participants were able to discover a whole array of innovative solutions that can contribute to the safekeeping of our planet, learn about new uses for recycled and composted materials and look at exhibits illustrating the future of electric cars.
In addition to the groundbreaking displays, Green Business Week also featured a series of insightful conferences led by industry experts, notably the K-Nuclear Export Conference and the Global Renewable Energy Trends Seminar. Throughout the duration of the event, other conferences were held at varying times covering several topics from solar energy and hydrogen to carbon neutrality.
This year’s exhibit was also the perfect place to learn more about food that is both sustainable and good for your body. Shinsegae Foods offered a taste of their new flour rice milk, made 100% with vegetable ingredients like Korean rice and brown rice oil, developed under the plant-based brand “You Are What You Eat”. Attendees received a free sample to fully experience the innovative drink while exploring the hall.
