Coex celebrated its 40th anniversary on May 29 by unveiling a new mission, vision, and core values framework during a commemorative ceremony held at the Coex Auditorium. The event was attended by approximately 400 guests, including domestic and international MICE industry leaders, partners, and stakeholders.
Reflecting on four decades of growth and transformation, Coex introduced its new mission, ‘Experience the Next, Expand the Stage.’ The mission underlines the organization’s commitment to creating new experiences for customers while expanding opportunities for industries and businesses through its evolving role as a platform for growth and innovation.
Coex also announced its new vision: ‘A Global Leader Designing Stages for Growth Through Innovative Experiences.’ The vision reflects the company’s ambition to go beyond venue operations and strengthen its position as a global MICE platform that supports business growth and industry development.
Alongside the new mission and vision, Coex unveiled its new core values framework, ‘STAGE,’ which serves as the foundation for the organization’s future direction and decision-making.The framework is built around five core values: Strategic Design, Trust Foundation, Active Synergy, Global Standard, and Experience Value, guiding Coex in creating value for customers, partners, and the broader MICE industry.
Founded in 1986, Coex has played a pivotal role in the growth of Korea’s exhibition and convention industry over the past 40 years. As one of the country’s leading MICE platforms, Coex has connected industries, businesses, and people through world-class exhibitions and international conferences.
