Coex Urban Park 2021 Spreads Message of Hope

As the world turns toward brighter, warmer days, Coex celebrates the close of another successful Coex Urban Park (CUP), its annual art festival brightening the indoor and outdoor spaces of Coex Exhibition Center.

Led by this year’s theme “Blossom the Hope,” CUP featured interactive art and stunning displays designed to bring hope and happiness to those struggling in the time of COVID-19. Artists included Lee Ki-taek, kissmiklos, and the creative collective SPEXTRUM, whose uplifting works spread the message of hope to all who attended.

Coex Urban Park is an art festival held annually by Coex and open to the public. Organized by members of the Coex MICE cluster, CUP aims to bring healing and recreation right in the heart of bustling Seoul. This year, widespread news of the event reached media outlets such as Arirang.

Says Director of Space Marketing Team James Jung, “We are grateful for the warm interest and love shown by attendees of this year’s festival. The entire Coex team wishes continued hope and healing to all and looks forward to inviting attendees back to next year’s event.”
